What to expect -
Yin Yoga is a slow, grounding practice that targets the deep connective tissues of the body - like fascia, ligaments and joints, rather than the muscles. Postures are held for several minutes at a time (5min in my classes), allowing the body to soften gradually. It's a meditative and introspective experience that invites you to slow down, release tension and reconnect with your inner landscape. This practice supports flexibility, joint mobility, and can be a helpful complement to more dynamic movement or injury recovery, especially when approached with consistency, mindfulness and patience.
